Need some help with information about FHH helmets if possible.
I'm working on collecting information for study around the FHH helmets known. How many are there known in collections world wide, are there any in Europe? Pictures of FHH helmets, original pictures of helmets in use, helmets in collections where are they? If someone do not wish to post info here, please PM me. Here is a picture of two M35 examples. Hope for some help. ![]() |

HELLO ANDERS-
THE HELMET WITH THE SA RUNES AND POLITICAL EAGLE IS A FORM WORN BY GUARD UNITS AT SA HEADQUARTERS AND COURTS. I WOULD NOT CONSIDER IT TO BE A FELDHERRNHALLE HELMET. "A man needs to know his limitations" Dirty Harry Gold Badge #263 |

Hi Bob,
First of all thanks for the help I got with FHH questions in mail's earlier. And the feedback here, need help from experts like you. I think that the first helmets used by the SA Regiment “Feldherrnhalle” had the two decals typical of those worn on other helmets used in the SA. Used under a short time and then changed to the decal included the one representing the Feldherrnhalle monument. Just as the picture in Ludwig Baer's book, there is a FHH soldier that opens a car door for Viktor Lutze. With a M35 "SA" and a FHH cufftitle. |
