THE ARMBAND DOES NOT MEET THE CRITERIA FOR ANY KNOWN RZM REGULATIONS. I HAVE NEVER SEEN AN ALL WOOL ARMBAND IN MANY YEARS OF COLLECTING. IT IS NOT SOMETHING I WOULD WANT IN MY COLLECTION.

Thanks Bob,I was told it was a bringback came from vets son,has some moth tracking but maybe it was put in with some moths to age it!Anyway its very well made for a fake.

How about this one?Army administration?Grey color first one I have seen but edge is woven like the yello originals I have seen.

WITH REGARDS TO THE POLITICAL ARMBAND, IT COULD BE A HOME MADE PIECE. I HAVE ENCOUNTERED IN A FEW ISOLATED OCCASIONS ARMBANDS THAT WERE ODD IN CONSTRUCTION BUT PERIOD. HOWEVER, ITEMS LIKE THAT ARE A POOR INVESTMENT IF YOU EVER WISH TO RESELL THEM.

Thanks Bob I apprecicate it,After looking at the armband closer I believe its original,its old and not like any known fake I have ever seen,has that smell ,moth tracking even on white roundel,ww2 era I would say,anyone seen a fake armband made like this ?The other armband is green not grey,I believe by its constuction it original,ever seen one?

RZM wool armbands have a ribbed rayon roundel and a ribbed tape swastika. The swastika is sewn to the roundel, not through to the wool.

If it is homemade (as many were), was it homemade 70 years ago or 5? I suspect that it is a reproduction because most homemade armbands were made out of cotton.
