I am posting this Allgemeine enlisted man's hat to gauge the interest with my intentions of listing it in the 'For Sale' section. A very early SS Enlisted Mans in excellent plus condition. Over all shows minor wear and very little spots of very minor moth bite on the top and band. Early low crown as called the "Teller Form" Early silver insignia and the soldier has personalized his skull by very tiny scratched number '50' on the skull. Perhaps his unit number or just for a personalized identification. (must look closely to see it) The interior is near mint with the early golden, tan interior and having the rare Reichsfuhrer SS label below the gold SS runes. Has the large, white RZM tag. The hat is personally named to "E. Berger SS ?????mann" This is a no story needed hat that speaks for itself and isn't one of the so prevalent 100% mint pieces that are now being touted as authentic.
Of course it's expensive and a 100% unhampered with original.

Contact me with sincere interest.

I would expect a jawless skull and the small eagle on this style cap.

John,

When are you going to post both of you visors in the "For Sale" forum?

Why? By 1936, all visor hats required the updated national emblem and full jaw totenkopf. Both insignia were already begining circulation in 1934/35 era. I have a gray NCO visor cap that has evidence of having all three pattern eagles mounted on them.
