I like it very much! A salty, but obvious, original...

Is the white piping on the top/bottom of the black band of a similar width as the white piping around the top of the cap?

From my personal experience the white piping on the top of the cap is normally wider than the piping around the top/bottom of the black band, but otherwise it looks good.

Am not 100% with it. When it is a very cheap purchase ok, otherwise I would like to see other comments.

Insignia has been changed-see extra holes in the pasteboard.

Brim has been reattached-see widely spaced irregular black thread, NOT an original application.

thanks for all comments,

I am "in peace" with this cap for a simple reason, look "under the hood" the skull pin holes are ok, just a TK size, not other big Heer pin holes.
The black band is period at this cap, just a little problem with the sweatband ( repair I think, because the model sweatband is a good pre war model like the orange interior )ditto, Pre War model for the light piping.

That cap has been manufactured in 1936-39 for sure...

Robert, what you didn't like ?

W Unland, you are a great eye ! yes you are reason, you can see a other pin hole on the middle of the Tk interior, after many reflexion, and only one possibility is : post war a idiot collector has wanted centered a other skull...

thanks all
Sebastien.

Seb, my question is now cleared as I wondered about the piping.
