18 SS Freiwilligen Panzer Gren Div "Horst Wessel"
Insignia made but not issued to the Div.
They wore the standard SS runes

nickn2...Many were made,,,but getting them to the soldiers was another issue.. Some say there were never any issued and some say they were issued but limited.. It could be like some of the other units,,,that is some were issued for the propaganda effect and just issued for photo taking sessions and that's it.. There is also cufftitles made and issued..

Surprisingly, being that the unit is late and very few and even less issued to wear they aren't worth mega money.. There are 100s of these in collections / circulation from the Dachau depot hoard.. It's a good find ,,sometimes you can get these for $200!

Go to one of your Antique restorers.
Animal origin glue they use (furniture, leather etc). Most case makers for instance make their own boiling it/using it on the work bench.Maybe even do it for you. Wink
