I will be traveling from Paris to Flanders and then through the Ardennes to the Rheinland and on to Austria. can somebody give me a few tips which museums or sites would be worth visiting.

Here are some pics of a museum I went to in Diekirch, just north-east of Luxembourg City. Very much worth the time if you can make it.

Hello Helmut,
If you go to Bastogne (very nice museum as stated earlier by Spencer Victory), make also a visit to La Gleize, they have a small museum with a Tiger II or Kingtiger exposed outside: http://www.december44.com/

And if you come to Brussels, this is a must: http://www.klm-mra.be/

They just opened a audio visual section about WWII, with a very impressive collection of uniforms, daggers, weapons... etc.

thank you very much for all the information _ I`ll surely will try to see as much there as I can - I hope there are some flowermarkets so I can send my wife off for a few hours or days - I have a friend in Paschendale who will show me some of the historic sites - I send a report when I`m back in australia
