I am sure a lot of you have visited "La Percee d'Avranches" along the coast. That was the first museum I hit when I first went to the Omaha area. The owner has been collecting D Day items since the war.

Hermann Historica is selling the entire contents 12 and 13 November 2009. Mr. Bazin has 150 uniforms, 130 deactivated firearms, like MP44, MP43, FG42 and hundreds of pieces of equipment as well as 40 military vehicles. Lots of rare stuff for sure.

I saw that. I wonder how many relatives and indeed vets donated items in the past for others to be able to view in the knowledge they will be looked after in the museum, not eventually sold for this guy to retire on !!!?

Searching for Blood orders.
