There is an annual show in Ft. Worth. It's been getting better and better. They have personalities present too. That's where I met Dutch Van Kirk, Richard Cole, and "Tex" Hill.

If it's the same as 2007, it will be June. Check the link I posted.

Hey Tex,

Ten bucks admission? Is it worth it?

I have several rather nice rifles to sell, do you think this would be a good show for guns?

4-K98s, G33/40, G43, Colt 1911s, IBM M1 carbine, Winchester M1 Garand (both WW2 correct and matching), 03 Springfields,. Mosin Nagants all choice and matching ..

MW, they said last year was a sell-out as far as dealers with around 400 tables. I know i am going with several family members who are looking for guns. I sure hope it has a good turn out, Texas needs some stable shows.

I contacted the show organizers to see if guns are allowed for sale and if there are any tables available.

What are you and your family members looking for in the way of WW2 rifles and or pistols? I have a current C&R liscense.

MW, what did they say about the tables and guns? I am looking for a K98 but two are going up for auction sat locally. My nephew is looking for a Garand but he just got into TR daggers and vietnam patches so he was just gonna "feel" out everything and decide on the fly.

I've not been to this show so can't really vouch for it but have heard good things.

I'll be bringing a locally acquired all matching bnz 43 for sale.

I just heard from the show organizers. Military guns only, pre 1953 are allowed for sale. They have a few tables available @ $65.each. He indicated guns do well at this show. It IS Texas..

Legion, The Garand I have is probably a little pricy for your nephew. It's a 1943 Winchester, completely WW2 correct. Original finish with the original leather sling.

I have a few nice matching K98s. I also have a beauty K98 with all matching metal and matching wood, but the wood numbers don't match the metal numbers. Typical for a period field arsenal repair. Real nice with an original sling. Affordable ..

Hey Guys,
I'll be attending, but not as a dealer. Don't buy all the good dress bayonets before I get there. There'll be others from Texas attending that I have talked to from WA.
Skipper Greenwade and others, I hope I can meet some of you guys at the show.
Steve.

To those of you looking to sell rifles, will you be doing this out of booths or on the fly during the show? I am from southern Oklahoma and will be attending the show, and I'm in the market for a nice preferably matching K98 and G43. Any info is greatly appreciated.

hi all,,,i went to the show, not as a dealer but just as a walk in,,,lots on nice and interesting items,,,some were priced sky high,,,didnt see many collector quality rifles,as usual, the many fakes abounded,,,i dont believe it was worth the 10 buck admission fee,saw a table that was full of modern swiss looking watches, and a coin dealer was present also,,,these are the things i dont want to see at a "militaria collectibles show",,,especially for the hijack fee of 10 dollars admission,,, Frown
