I’m hoping that someone out there can help me identify the person in this photograph. Some time back, I acquired a cased Order of the Eagle and breast star wo/ swords. With this set, came an original photograph of this man. He’s obviously some sort of a diplomat or ambassador. The photo as best I can tell is signed, “To my good friends Harold and Evelyn Wilks(?) with all good wishes” ……… It is signed by this person with a date of June, 1934. Unfortunately, I can’t read his signature. It’s not that it’s damaged or obscured, I just can’t read his writing. In any event, I don’t know what if any significance the picture has with the medals but I thought my research should begin with identifying this person. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
