Hi all

I'm normally a collector of uniforms but saw these on ebay and fancy a punt on them.

Any opinion on them?

Many thanks

They are 100% real and quite common. Individual value is about US25c, but a block of nine for a display might be worth waht the opening bid is.

Hi Dave

Many thanks. I got them for AU$7.50. Nice little addition to my collection.

Thanks for your advice.

Hello Chris

Here is an example of one of your stamps used on an envelope. Note the return address. Lots of fun and learning in stamp collecting.

Enjoy,

Jerry

Chris,

Stamps are fun and inexpensive. Like everything they have been faked of course but yours look fine.

I agree with Jerry that stamps on "covers" are neat. I collected covers when I was a kid and sold most of my stamps (except the German ones) many years ago. I like the cancellations and typically these cancelled stamps on envelopes are rarely faked.

Here is a block of Postal Police stamps.

Thanks guys, that's really interesting.

Like I said, I'm more into collecting 'kit' than stamps but I understand the appeal nonetheless.

My wife is patient enough with my collecting so far, but I think stamps might just tip her over the edge.

Regards.
