Hi All:

Found this one of a proud SS Mann and his sons in the LAH records in the National Archives which is dated on the back 1931.

Regards,

IF they made it that far,(,44) ALL look old enough to probably have worn the "Real deal".

The hat on #1 son looks like a mini-SS Visor doesn't it?

Interesting......

Maybe this helps to explain those miniature sized SS Rune Collar Tabs on Bill Shea's site.....which haven't sold?

For an "mini-SS Mann" ........

http://www.therupturedduck.com/WebPages/Cloth/c470.htm

C-470 Unique Set of Machine Embroidered SS Runic Collar Tabs in Miniature.....I have no idea what these came off unless it was a child's uniform. They are basically one-third smaller than a standard set. They are extremely well made and sport a nice set of machine embroidered runes. They have the buckram material with a colored shellac to hold the wool and the backing in place. This comes with the matching rank tab for a SS Private (SS Mann). I have owned these for more than a decade! $495.00

Very nice picture Ross.

The cap stlye from the kid is not so unusual as such cap styles where also worn privat from youngsters in this time on the street, same style was worn from in the early DJ groups for my knowledge.

Here is a little 'Mann' all kitted out in some sort of Para-Military Uniform.

Grandfather & Father are in their eary TeNo Uniforms. (Photo is dated 1934).

Little "Mann" is in ? Uniform Type.

Boys usually want to dress up like their Dad does. That transforms all cultures. Dave/dblmed
