Hey guys,
I just picked up a book (printed in 1940) about the Eickhorn company. About 60 pages, green cover with large gold squirrel. There are several pics. of the manufacturing process, products, etc. all German text. I do not have it in my posession yet or I would post pics. but I was wondering if anyone else has one and especially if you know the value of such a book (in very nice condition).
Thanks in advance,
Johnny V.

Johnny,

This is the anniversary book that Eickhorn published in 1940. A very interesting book with photos of the factory, production, employees, etc. Nice find.

"Leisten und Dienen" around $100 depense about the condition, search on the internet and you find mostly all answers, just check out Johnsons webside.

I would estimate a minimum of $100-150 as it is a rare book. I collect the catalogs and live in Germany and have never seen this one. The normal Eickhorn catalogs (factory) go for at least $300 (I got a later dark brown one at the SOS for $400). Naturally only an edged weapon collector would pay this price and condition on books is very important!
