Here is a pretty decent badge that I just picked up from the vet`s nephew. I have run a few adverts in my local paper over the last year & this is only the second thing I`ve managed to get. just goes to show that it can be worth the effort from time to time. I must say it is more satisfing to give your money direct to the families.

Is your example tarnished silver or a blue black finish?

Thanks on your comment. I have had a desire for one of these for a very long time so I was particularly pleased to get it. It has a little wear on the high spots but the gilt is almost all there & I really like to have things that were worn & not just liberated from a store of factory.

The finish is I believe blue/black.
