Hi All
I bought this in a package with some daggers and other bits. At the time I dismissed it as a fake.
On later inspection it looks like it may be right but I need some expert help It looks to have had the old pin broken and removed and replaced some time later.
I may well be totally wrong but even the AS mark looks OK.
I throw this into the pot for discussion

If real - I don't like the level of detail on the front- however i do admit I am not an expert with these. It has been worked on as evidence by the "scars" where the original pin and catch were.


Always looking for Heeres Beamte (HV) and Sonderfuhrer items. Insignias, paperwork, photo's......

Yes a terrible cast lead based fake not even close sorry. One quick tell for the new collector is that thin tape like catch a dead giveaway every time

Thanks you guys , badge now thrown in the scrap box ( thats s-crap box ) which seems to get fuller every year. Might melt it down for its metal value soon Big Grin
