I do not recall having heard or read about desirable ring marks. Will do some checking.

Anyone have thoughts on the subject? Any dedicated EkII collectors?

I to have not heard of a particular disred marking on EKs. The ones to look for is the round three in the 1939.

Anything from Floch Razz.

Actually Joe or Paul, perhaps you can answer this one. Do we know which markings Floch is associated with for EK2s? I know what he's associated with in regards to his 1st class crosses, but havn't studied his EK2s a whole lot. I believe "5" is one of his, but which other EK2's?

Sorry, don't mean to digress off topic.

Robert as far as EK2 rarity and desireability goes, i'm not really sure. Perhaps Dietrich Maerz can elaborate on it. I havn't read his books nor any of the other iron cross literature so I really don't know. Perhaps you can also ask the question at WAF as they have a dedicated "Crosses of The Wehrmacht" section. Just a thought.
