Hey Jerry...the three solder (spelling?) holes on the back are the biggest giveaway - no good. Also, if you look at the sides of the buckle, you can see just how "flimsy" the brass is. There's no thickness to it. Finally - the belt doesn't belong with that type of buckle...and just look at the condition of the belt. It looks like it was made yesterday.

I never even noticed that 3rd hole~!

I missed the thinness too I guess.

But to me the belt itself seems old. it looks very dry & cracked, especially in th the last photo. Might not be WW1 could be a WW2 luft belt too
I'd have to see better pics.
