Bought this buckle on the weekend while looking for other things. Always wanted one and decided to take it without really knowing much about these...

Just curious to know more about it, like is it OK etc.

It is aluminium and stamped MERKL 1939
Could not find one while searching this forum so don't know if that means rare or bad ?
