Hey gang...I'm usually pretty good with buckles and I've seen this one somewhere before. I picked this up today along with some choice buckles. I'm sure I've seen this type of buckle before.

Is this a Weimar buckle type variant? Construction certainly looks as it should. It's the same construction as my other Reichsheer buckles but the eagle is different. I'd love some feedback. Anyone have one like this post and discuss?
Info would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, certainly is interesting! You can see a big difference in the font used on the lettering - especially the thickness of the "T" in Gott and Mit.

Hi Ian. I found it at a local militaria show. It's a neat buckle and come to think of it, there are quite a few variants out there of these Weimar buckles. This was just one that I didn't have yet.
