I am new to the forum and have found the discussions to be excellent. I am attaching pictures of an SS officer buckle from my collection. I would appreciate your comments.

I haven't learned yet how to post more than one picture at a time so I am hitting the "reply" button to add more pictures.

I cannot tell you about the buckle. The only way to post pictures is how you are doing it.

Your SS officer buckle is perfectly original.
It was made by the Overhoff firm in 1940. Prongs slightly bended toward the inside indicate this buckle was at one point of time mounted on a leather belt NOT made for the SS. Thank you for your review of the buckle. I always wondered why the prongs were bent and appreciate your insight of the same.
