From where I sit it looks original.
Now I really hesitated cause the crossguard looks a bit funky to me. The quillions angles look off as does the eagle somewhat, but it's nickel silver and all the other pieces seem to add up so I give it a thumbs up.

Pretty nice looking 1st model, the grip emblem is in particularly good shape. Is it maker marked?

Certainly appears a good one to me, only doubt could be the emblem which appears to be very good compared to the rest of the dagger-possibly replaced on a once partially de-nazified piece???

There is no Makers Mark on this one. Can the original RLB be MM free?

Also - seams like this is a parts dagger - many chips on the handle and RLB sign bdand new?

Nice dagger but I think the RLB has been redone. To fresh looking and look at the swaz has a chip and the color is a little darker.Still a hard dagger to find in good condition.
