Looks like it has an upside-down NSKOV insignia in the grip.

I'd be suspicious.

No, not RAD. It's a fighting knife with a NSKOV (veterans organization) emblem afixed to the grip. I don't know enough about fighting knives themselves to tell 100% good from bad but I don't see anything wrong from the photos.I doubt the NSKOV emblem was put there during the war.It's upside down and what would an old WWI vet do with a fighting knife. I guess one could make the arguement of a member in the volkssturm. Do you have any close up? It looks like the blade has the makers code 'cof' which would be for Carl Eickhorn (WWII era)

it's at an auction close to me, 2 other pics had a lot of glare. Couldn't make anything out of them, appears he tried to take a close up of the makers mark on the blade. I'm new to this game so any help is great.
