Well done. An excellent example of an aluminum fitted Horster. They don't get much cleaner than that.

I see a marking below the MM. Is it a wafamt mark?

A pristine sword. You need to add a tag to that one.

If you don't mind me asking, what would be a benchmark price for a piece like that?
Brian Maerderer has a few very nice luft swords in the $2000+ range, however it has been noted that his prices are on the high side, upside is the exchange rate which would bring one in at around £1000 which does not seem overly expensive for a nice minty piece.

The early nickel-silver pieces still seem to hold thier value a bit more than the aluminum pieces. That being said, a piece like this one is going to command top dollar. Ballpark, I think $1500 based on what the market has been doing lately. On this piece 2K wouldn't surprise me. A number of years ago I had bought a excellent condition early Horster, school marked and complete for $700. Today, comprable pieces seem to be running double that.
