Does anyone have any knowledge of where shooting society "Roland" was at in 1927? Roland was the nephew of Charlemagne and a patron of Bremen. Might that be a clue?
Four photos should be attached (hopefully). Thank you.
I took the photos in a high resolution. In order to put them onsite I had to reduce them in file size to under 80 kb. (JR showed me how some time ago.) I don't know how to up them in physical size on GDC and still keep them within file size parameters. (JR has not taught me all he knows, just enough to get by).
So in simple terms....No.
I could email them offsite in their larger file size and physical size if anyone needs them. Thanks.
JR, Do not get people off topic with showing those Jolly Roger pirate rings. We are trying to have a serious discussion here and find out where shooting society "Roland" is at. You should know how I like to stay serious and on track. Besides you know as well as I do those rings were given out in 1930's Germany in boxes of "Muslik" cereal by a former chicken farmer.
Robin, Can you send me a picture of the clamshell and hilt, might help us determine the maker, and a couple pictures of the scabbard. There was a shooting Club Roland in Eisenbach eV 1927 which basically means thats when the shooting club started. This hirschfänger could be something to do with there inauguration. There was another Roland Shooting club in Bad Bramstedt eV 1911.
