Hi; Any idea what this is? The metal is a light gold tone except for the unmarked blade. There is only a little of the green felt on the back of the frog. I cann't seem to post a picture at the moment. Odd that it is a saw back. Thanks Doug

Nice early piece usually seen with a black hilt and scabbard. The frog is very scarce. The sawback is rather typical with this model. Circa 1910-1920's

Hi; Thank you very much. So then I assume it is indeed a Forestry dagger? Is this anything you are interested in? It is just out of my area. Doug

Hi; Well, I guess that you don't. I stuck it on Eban yesterday and gave your forum and websight a good promotional plug in my listing. Thanks again. Doug

Well, I guess it is not worth the $400 I was asking on Eban. One of the local guys wants the frog. He offered me a hundred for it. I hate to break it up. I cann't still belive it is not worth $400. At least I can still quarter out my deer with it. Doug

Well, I thought it was worth $400. I just had to list in the WW2 German Dagger area on Eban and got $427. It will be winging its way off to the UK shortly. Thanks All Doug
