Hello, hope you can help as I don't have a refrence book for these. I'm wondering if I have original pre 1945 daggers here. The larger one measures 11" overall with scabbard and has silver non-magnetic fittings. Both are Eickhorn maker marked. If additonal pictures are needed let me know. Thanks for your help, regards, Ron.

Both in my opinion are post 1945. The Eickhorn marks are all wrong.
Here's an early 3rd Reich Eickhorn mark 1933-34

Baz69,

Very nice pictures. I agree the trade mark doesn't match the full size dagger Eickhorn TM. I haven't been able to find any mini Eickhorn TM's. I was able to find this thread, but it isn't conclusive. I wasn't able to post the picture due to size restrictions. Link http://daggers.infopop.cc/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/35097573/m...?r=96710717#96710717

The original large and small TM's are the same pattern. These are post war, the larger one being made recently and offered quite often on Ebay.
