Hey guys!
I came across some interesting pics. in a period publication that I thought I would share.
The pics are from the August 15th 1939 publication of "Arbeitertum". The pictures posted are from the Hamberg Reichs Day (Hamberger Reichstagung).
I am VERY interested to know if any of these "uniforms" have turned up since the war...
Pretty interesting stuff!!!
Enjoy,
Johnny

Very interesting pix!I'm sure those outfits were of an extremely limited production and would be hard to find today(to say the least!).

Hello,
I had wondered &inquired about this myself while ago too. There are a number of videos, one on the Third Reich & the Occult that show these scenes. It looked like some roman or pagan parade with guys as shown and riding by on horseback dressed like this too. Absolutely fascinating! As has already been said I would bet those items are long lost to time...although I would also like to hear whether any of these items are in collections.

well if one does indeed exist out there, I would not be suprised to hear that it resides in Clint Eastwoods, or Mel Gibsons closet.

Yes! I seen one recently. Just the cape. At the Pomona Military Show in Pomona Calif. this last November.
The guy was WEARING IT! It was beautiful. It looked like just this this. However what you don't see in the photos is there were smaller swastikas in a light gold color about 2" in height throughout the whole cape! There example I saw was very high equality fabric.
The guy gave me a chance to examine it. It looked 100% period.
I've never seen another ever. It was the most fasinating item at the show. He wasn't a dealer with a table. Just a guy walking around with it.
Maybe there are other members here that attended that show. You couldn't miss it.
I'm not a cloth guy so I didn't know the value.
He was asking $20,000. Said it was the only surviving one like it in the world.

Very interesting pics,on a simular note I once owned this small early flag that was attributed to a pagen/pagent festival. It was very intricately made with lots of differant materials/gold and siver thread etc and I would guess many of these like the cloakes were hand made in a cottage industry.,,, Stephen

Interesting..never seen one 'in the flesh' so to speak, but i do have one of the eagles that are depicted in the first photograph on top of the festival banner..they are made of paper maché and painted silver..

I can also imagine that many of the capes were turned into banners or tapestry..

Hello,
Very nice looking item Hooper, I gather you know longer own this little flag eh? It looks extremely well made, beautiful! Kursk I'd like to see a picture of that eagle if possible. What is it's size? Fascinating items which helped create a fascinating and complex ideology for sure.

I bought out an old costume shop, and ended up with 3 suits of armor somewhat like these, one dress, and a shield. They are all sort of "crispy" . The lady had gotten them from a Chicago costume shop in the 1950s. I thought I had a photo, but I can't find it. I'll see if I can take some Saturday when I at the shop again.

Karneval der Kulturen from Berlin what I have in my head. Certain items show up sometimes at Herman Hitorica.
