I'm sorry, I'm obviously very new. I thought it might be a police bayonet, I think Carl Eickhorn is stamped on the blade. I appreciate everyone's help!

Yes Brad its a police bayonet.There should be some letters and numbers stamped on the back crossguard. They will tell the town it was issued in.
