I have inherited from my father at Dagger that he had from his Uncle that was in WWII.

I am curious as to what it is and it's value.

I have always liked this knife as it's construction was amazing and it fit in the scabbard like a glove.

It very well could be, again I don't know. It looks like there is lacquer in the logos.

I don't know anything about it, other than it seems very well made. And my dad had this and one of those Pickle Helmets.

Also a relic.

i am curious about value, rarity, classification, etc.

Anything I should know is appreciated.

I am looking at it close, and I don't think that is was re-fished after looking at other galleries they look the same with the OAK finish.

It is also a HACO. I am learning, but what is it's value and any history about this weapon would be appreciated.

I know you guys know.

Post it in the SA/NSKK section as well. You may get a better cross section of collectors to offer both opinions and answer your question.

You Have a NSKK dagger. The value with the condition that i see is in the $400-$450.00 range, give or take a few bucks.
thanks
Bob

I concur with bgrelics. That is if the blade has not been sharpened.
Most "Haco" daggers do come with with a varnish/shellac type coating on the grips. However IMO I believe this one has been recoated post 1945.
