Hello,
I am new in this forum.
I am living in Germany, and a few days ago I bought a Luftwaffe 2nd type dagger which is etched and made by Emil Voos.
I bought it together with many other items, e.g. photos, badges and documents from the daughter of a Luftwaffe pilot, who began his service with Legion Condor.
Now I want to sell it to any dealer in the US, because here I will get more money than in Germany.
So I have two questions:
-Do You think I should sell all items together as a "convolut" or the dagger seperate ?
-Do You have any addresses or names of good and trustworthy dealers in the US for me ?
I hope this is the right section for my questions, and excuse my bad english, please.
Kind regards, Andreas.

I recommend that you buy a membership here and at Wehrmacht Awards Forum, and post your add there. You are likely to get a better price from collectors than from dealers

In your situation I would send the grouping on consignment to a dealer like Tom Wittmann or Tom Johnson. Of course it will cost you commission fees but they will obtain top dollar for the items. Certainly you need to explore your options. Good luck!

Andreas:

I agree with Landser. A reputable dealer, like Wittman or Johnson or Paul Hogle at Lakesidetrader.com, will get you top dollar wiht the least hassles.

Go the commission route and you will maximize your return.
