Have acquired a new Army dagger. Paul Seilheimer, maker. I own 2 of these very hard to find beauties. Both are as NMint as the description implies. EARLY, 1st style WKC fittings and scabbard, tapered tang, and beautiful grips. Was surprised to find both wearing WKC fittings, but Seilheimer didn't produce their own fittings so all seems to be normal....

How about some Paul Seilheimer? Here are 2 I own. Both have tapered tangs and the Early brass based, 1st style WKC fittings and earliest WKC scabbards.

One is personalized while the other is a plain Jane. Both are at least NMint if not better.

Pretty darned hard to find, these Paul Seilheimer products....

Inscription on my newest Seilheimer reads "From the NCOs of the 12th Company Reserve Battalion Feb 21, 1937" This dagger also came with a set of hangers that appear to be gilted.....

Both are Pretty special piece in any case......

Both carry the earliest mark Seilheimer used.

You've hit the nail on the head.....A Bostonian has crept into my collection. I saw this a while back and was fortunate enough to have the gentleman allow it leave his soccer team atmosphere and come to live down here in the South. It is a beauty. Every time I hold it I want to shake a leg.....

Nice Seilheimers, the personalized one sure does have that extra appeal to it.

I sold my seilheimers awhile back now i want both of mine back, oh well guess I will go out and buy somthing with ivory to cheer me up!

i have seen the Dog on a Luft - i belive that PS with the sword is primarily found on Seilheimer swords. of course happy to be proved wrong.

The dog with sword logo also appears on the Seilheimer K98 dress bayonet

Denny: I have it now. That's why I asked you to contact me If your Selheimers are in better condition than mine, I wouldn't mind working a trade with you. Roy's was in very nice shape, but not as nice as I wanted. Yours look to be in minty shape, though they don't have as-rare a trademark. Sounds like a match made in heaven!
