Much rare than a 'Voos', shame about the grip.

Mr Nolan:

Yes, but it is ivory, and I really collect blades and this is a rare blade to have. So, I closed my eyes and got it anyway.

If you ever come to sell it a dealer will redudce his offer due to those cracks, then he will sell it on as 'with wonderful age striations that collectors love' Big Grin .
Just joshin mate, its a nice piece, wouldn't hurt to swap the grip if a nice ivory one came available.

We worry about moisture on the blade and this is what happens to ivory when there is no moisture.I was told a long time ago when displaying my ivory grip Army #1 loosen the pommel so there is no pressure and #2 keep a small bowl with water near it to keep the grip from drying out.
