Its a very nice Holler, note the vertical and horizontal crossgrain evident on the blade, sort that knot out and it will be perfect
I thought about this one myself when I saw it posted! |

Thank you Degens,
I have only a doubt on the ferrule feature raised oakleaf design. Is it regular? |

It looks fine to me, the raised oakleaf design is normal and this one infact looks a little flat in comparison to the picture below, possibly due to wear from the knot, from what I can see the pommel and scabbard appear correct.
The fact it faces the opposite direction is no big deal, Wittmanns book shows his 2 examples with opposite configs. ![]() |

Degens;
I see the same direction in your photo |

What I mean by direction is that the oakleaves and acorns on the two that I posted are pointing to the right, yours are going left....easily rectified by just flipping over the ferrule, but like I say, they can face either direction and is normally determined by the fit to the grip seating.

Oakleaves are very consumed...

Both of my Army Daggers are going the same way yours is Sersac. In fact my Holler has a flatten look about the oakleafs as well. The Klass looks very crisp. Mark
