Flag pole topper to display with it. This was listed on ebay DE as an "old bayonett" for a great price.

Information regarding the Jungbann from Wim and Garry.

In the earliest stage the name for the Bann from the HY was Altena-Olpe (August 1, 1933), it's headquarters were at the castle of Altena in the middle of the town, changed in name as Altena with its headquarters at Lüdenscheid about March 1935. For the HY the color piping was blue.

Jungbann 1/143 had the name Lenne-Volme with headquarters first at Werdohl and later at Lüdenscheid. The name was later changed as Altena with its headquarters still at Lüdenscheid. The number 1/ disappeared in about August 1937.
For a short while (late 1933) also Jungbann 2/143 with the name Olpe existed in the earliest stage, its headquarters were at Plettenberg, but before the introduction of the shoulder-straps the number was cancelled.

It's all still out there, it's just a matter of taking the time to collect it all to bring groupings back together, or the proper pole top for a certain flag
