She's solid brass, plated. (nickle silver?)
The base is radiator cap off a tank? (confirmation?)
This is my first "non-net" acquisition of 2009.
No biggie.
I don't see any/many of this quality
(vs. aluminum)?

Why not of a RAD officers mercedes-benz(or similar car) where the radiator cap was displaying the brand bagde also?

Yes, probably nickle plated..these 2nd pattern pole tops are most often found in aluminum alloy (at least by 1935), so with that style it is probably a contemporary. Any RZM markings? Most non alloy tops will lack this...
