hi all,,,i obtained this scope with it's unusual base from a vet,,he state that this was mounted to a rifle,,he could'nt bring back the rifle as it was full auto,,,this leads me to think fg-42 or mp-44/stg-44,,,what is the opinion on this???,,,real curious to hear from our scope collectors,,,,many thanks once again,,,robert
